April 29 – Celebrate Duke Ellington’s 125th Birthday! It’s “Sip & Dine For Jazz Education, #3”@ Broadway Brewery, starting at a special time - MU Jazz Combo (6 p.m.), MU Women’s Jazz Ensemble (7 p.m.) & Columbia Jazz Orchestra (7:45 p.m.)
 
April 30 – International Jazz Day Celebration! Columbia Public School District “Jazz Night!” withTrumpeter Stan Kessler as a Special Guest with Battle, Hickman and Rock Bridge High Schools’ Jazz Bands. Hickman High School Auditorium, 6 p.m., FREE/DONATION.
